Imagine a contractor that pursues public-building renovations in its operating region. Its profile includes general contracting and building upgrades, and excludes supply-only orders and consulting-only work.

Explain the exclusion
“Supply only” is useful feedback. Avoid excluding a broad word that might also appear in a suitable construction project.

Check whether the profile change improves similar decisions without removing useful mixed-scope work.
What a real pilot should measure
Agree evidence before claiming success.
Useful measures may include notices reviewed, reasons for rejected matches, known opportunities checked against agreed sources and the effort spent reviewing the shortlist. Define the method and period at kickoff.
A recommendation is not proof of eligibility, a submitted bid or a won contract. A future client case study would need client permission and verified results.
